On the 7 May, the Formed Police Unit of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) participated with the Kosovo Police and the NATO-led KFOR mission in the joint exercise Golden Sabre 2024.

EULEX is Kosovo’s second security responder, as part of a three-layer security responder mechanism where Kosovo Police is the first security responder, EULEX is the second one, and KFOR is the third security responder.

The exercise, which took place at Camp Vrelo, aimed at testing our ability and readiness to implement joint crisis management procedures. This to be able to better support the stability of Kosovo and contribute to the security of all communities.
