25 March 2014

"Since the EULEX mission is downsizing, we are able to give some of our assets to the local community in order to help them achieve accomplish their tasks more easily," said Borchardt during the handover ceremony.

"These ambulances are very well equipped and will make a real contribution to the work of these health institutions," he added.
Dr. Ekrem Duvolli, Director of the Regional Hospital at Kaçanik/Kačanik thanked the Head of EULEX, stating that the ambulance was much needed for his hospital. "Those who will benefit most from this donation are our patients," said Duvolli. "We were lacking ambulances, so this donation came in the right time for us," he added.
